The QS Fibre Sheet Former is an automated device that takes just 5 minutes to form six highly uniform circular 60 gsm handsheets (64mm dia) perfect for strenth-testing with the QS Fibre Zero-Span Tester. Approximately 2 grams of pulp are disintegrated, conditioned, and diluted with 2 litres of water. The slurry is then poured into the sheet former's pulp reservoir and the cycle is activated with a push of a button. Five minutes later 6 dry handsheets can be removed from the pick-up bin and used for testing purposes.
